Intels Mobile Dual Core

One look at this article and you can't help to get excited about things to come, yes AMD has had dual core technology rolling already but now with Intel preparing to counter, it won't be long before it too will be a standard feature in mobile computing, like the integrated wireless has become in such a short time. My favorite part is the expanded wireless capabilities Intel promises to bring about especially in VoIP.

Another good thing about more chip power is that it's right on time for added security, which according to the top security voices, is what we will need. This article says the current exploits will be targeting Virtual Machines, open source, and scanning technology. Hmmmm, are they working on these things at Microsoft? Maybe thats Balmers idea of competition, because they're the only people that are worried about these technologies breaking their stranglehold on the OS market.

Bruce's article about RFID frying is going to give a new meaning to the term baking cookies. Imagine instead of cookies on your computer 'phoning home' so to speak, how long until RFID tags which will surely invade every aspect of our lives start 'phoning' there were abouts? This would be a good article to bookmark in that event.
