Ubuntu humanity for my vaio

I hope I didn't shock any family if they went to the interesting link above on one persons take of the ubuntu circle of humanity covers of the debian based distro of Linux. I just got totally exhausted trying to get things to work under Suse and decided to give Ubuntu 5.04 a shot.
by the way this ubuntu wallpaper was found at our Japanese community site.

So, the install went really well and fast and I have a working Linux flavor that has a modest footprint, totally picked up my wireless on eth1 and the Ethernet on eth0 and Im in the process of downloading the latest distro, apparently I don't have the most current release and the synaptic manager wouldn't send me the upgrades. That's OK lets keep it on the bleeding edge.
I have to figure out why all these Linux systems (so far Suse, Knoppix, now Ubuntu and even the freebsd variant fresbie) wont take up all the realestate on my desk, they all chop 1 inch of each side of the already small monitor of my 350p.

When I find out Ill post it here. suse sucks! ubuntu rocks!
