Finally, after a very long haitus, I can once again pursue the root account of wireless knowledge. got moved in, enrolled, and turned on to anywhere anytime wireless through my cellular carrier, however that doesn't mean that I have totally forgotten about the Seattle Wireless communities goals of free wireless. Lets have both.

Similarly, I think that I tend to use both open and proprietary software and have given up trying to pursue Stallmans purest views in favor of a more eclectic approach. Namely using the best tool for the job.

So I enrolled at North Seattle CC this morning, hopefully one step closer to the temple of wireless foo-fighting, which for me requires an EE degree at the U.

Im really happy with my new sony VGNT350p, which Im utilizing multiple forms of wi-, as well as both OS (Win, and Lin), Im going to run FreeBSD in a virtual machine for the purpose of network intrusion study NSM.

I aquired a new book today, The Tao of network security monitoring by Richard Bejtlich. This was recommended by my local LUG sometime ago. Here I go again, trying to read 10 books at once and juggle everything else.
